About Tom Bolton

I'm a Husband and Dad, a former Enterprise Systems Manager at the City of Milwaukee, and a Disciple and Lay Servant at First United Methodist of West Allis. As I study the Bible, sometimes I feel moved to work through my understanding by writing poetry. I also am continuing to learn in my dialysis experience and pursuit of a kidney transplant. Sometimes I just feel like writing about something that grabs my attention too.

The Growing Tree Children’s Center at United Methodist Children’s Services is looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a skill to share and teach to help enrich our summer program with grade school age children. If you love children, have a fun skill to teach (sewing, quilting, woodworking, model building, sign language etc.) and have time during the day on weekdays during July or August to share your skill, please contact Growing Tree Director, Theresa Purifoy.
