Known

On John 17:20-23

                 Known in Love

We pray for pure sanctification, to
know those in the fellowship of the communion.
Father and Son to guide us, and
Spirit alive in us,
we are made seven, and whole in One.
Love is pure.
Lord Jesus, ground us in love, make it the
major molecule of us each day!
Perfect love casts out our fear, the fear
we have fled for foolish years.
We rejoice.
Joy is complete, and completes us.
Filled with hope, we are
Immortal, aware of what will be and what is.
We give thanks, knowing
the creator, knowing love, filled with His fruits.
Without stopping to force it, we pray
without ceasing,
filled with the Word, the Light upon us.
And we are known, loving each neighbor.
It shows upon our faces, and
around us.

About Tom Bolton

I'm a Husband and Dad, a former Enterprise Systems Manager at the City of Milwaukee, and a Disciple and Lay Servant at First United Methodist of West Allis. As I study the Bible, sometimes I feel moved to work through my understanding by writing poetry. I also am continuing to learn in my dialysis experience and pursuit of a kidney transplant. Sometimes I just feel like writing about something that grabs my attention too.
